The Y12 WACE Exam Course offers an ideal opportunity for students to revise the ATAR syllabus and fine-tune their understanding with highly experienced Peak teachers and exclusive exam resources.
The WACE Exam Course consists of 3 lessons over 3 weeks leading up to the final WACE exam period. During these sessions, students gain in-depth knowledge from experienced teachers in a structured, simplified, and easy-to-understand way.
Peak WACE exam teachers have a detailed understanding of the ATAR course and how to succeed in it. They truly understand the concepts behind the theory and use their specific knowledge to help students do the same.
The Peak WACE course is designed to maximise results in the lead-up to the final ATAR exam through exposure to state-standard questions. This comprehensive course efficiently revises a whole year's worth of content in just three lessons, ensuring effective exam preparation.
In each lesson, students receive exclusive access to detailed exam summary notes, exam-style workbooks, and take-home practice exams, all with fully worked WACE marking key solutions.

Every lesson focuses on three key areas - understanding core concepts, practicing exam style questions and revision of previous week's content.

An online learning portal where students can watch lesson videos, find solutions to questions and ask tutors for help, every day.

Is the course suitable if my child is already performing well - or currently struggling?
Yes. The course is designed to strengthen each student’s preparation from their current position.
Students who are performing well benefit from challenging exam-standard questions, refined technique and exposure to less familiar question styles. Students who have knowledge gaps benefit from structured syllabus revision, simplified explanations and carefully guided question practice.
Because the course focuses on both understanding and exam application, students can use it to strengthen weaker areas while building on the progress they have already made.
How is this different from revising independently or completing past papers?
Past papers are valuable, but simply completing more questions does not always show students why marks are being lost or how to improve their approach.

How can the full syllabus be revised in three lessons?
The course is an intensive consolidation program rather than a complete reteaching of every topic.
Each three-hour lesson focuses on a structured group of syllabus areas. Teachers review the essential theory, address common misconceptions and guide students through carefully selected exam-standard questions.
Supporting revision booklets, take-home materials, preparation checklists and online POD modules allow students to continue practising between lessons. This creates a focused three-week revision framework covering the full Year 12 syllabus.
What will my child receive with the course?

When and where are the courses held?
Courses run between 8 October and 31 October 2026 at PEAK Education’s East Perth Campus:

Students select one available course option and attend at the same time for three weeks. Multiple options are available across Mathematics Applications, Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Specialist, Physics and Chemistry.

Will each course finish before the subject’s WACE examination?
Yes. Each course is scheduled to finish before the relevant written WACE examination, including the earlier Chemistry examination.
This allows students to complete the structured course and then use their remaining preparation time to consolidate feedback, revisit priority areas and complete additional practice.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
Students will retain access to their course booklets, take-home materials and online POD resources if they miss a session.
However, the live teaching, guided exam practice and teacher explanations are important parts of the program. We therefore strongly recommend attending all three lessons wherever possible.
